Hindu temple Manakamana is located in the village of the Gorkha District and is devoted to goddess Bhagwati, an avatar of Parvati who is believed to grant all of her worshippers' wishes (i.e Maan ko kamana).The Manakamana Temple is situated 1,300 meters above sea level on Kafakdada Hill in the Sahid Lakhan Rural Municipality of Gorkha, where Trishuli and Marsyangdi meet.
